Men against Cancer is a new charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to establishing an open access diagnostic unit at the Belfast City Hospital for men's cancer, with an associated research programme into new ways of treating prostate cancer.
It is generally accepted that too little is done for men's health and the Government recognises this fact. To this effect meetings have taken place with the Department of Health and the Belfast City Hospital Trust and the proposed expenditure would be used to focus upon and improve services in the area of men's cancers in Northern Ireland. |
