Tibidado

The first two shots are of the Ciutadella park near the olympic village. The mammoth is dead. Tibidado is 1500 ft up with the best views over the surrounding city and countryside. There is a funfair there, but harking back to another era, perhaps the 1930s. Now music, just beautiful old fairground rides. The aeroplane is astounding. The church of the Sacred Heart atops the hill and is, as one guide book put it, the triumph of fervour over taste.
