Monestir de Pedralbes

17/05/2003

This convent was occupied by the Order until 1983, until which time it remained closed to the outside world. It is a treasure. The cloister and garden it enclosed are an oasis of peace, tranquility and cool. The art gallery, which I managed a single shot within before the fotopolice decended upon me, contains works by Valazquez, Rubens and Canaletto.
